Job Description
The resource, reporting directly to the CFO, will have the following responsibilities:
Control and manage the accounting department leading a team of accountants
Direct the financial reporting process, financial reporting, and ensure timely and accurate reporting
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
Ensure that local laws and regulations are consistently complied with and coordinate relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities
Establish and maintain relationships with senior management, investors and banks
Oversee cash flow, carry out forecasting, budgeting activities and financial model development
Monitor financial performance, prepare financial reports and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Amplify leadership and be a financial guide to ensure the organization and development of strategies aimed at achieving financial objectives
Maintain a constant update on industry trends and good practices to advise on optimizing processes and cost reduction initiatives
The Successful Applicant
Degree in accounting or finance
At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including 3 years in a leadership role
Excellent knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS and experience in financial reporting and compliance
Experience in the renewable energy industry or a related field is considered a plus
Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent analysis skills, including data analysis, and problem solving
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
Excellent knowledge of English languages
