About the role:

As Global Logistics Procurement Director you will be responsible for the Group Logistics results and savings, building and deploying the purchasing strategies, leading the relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You will ensure that common methodologies are developed and applied in the Procurement Logistics teams in the different Business Area and you will leverage best practices.

Furthermore you ensure that all projects, content, metrics and dashboards within Group Logistics are developed and met.

You are responsible for:

• Delivering Procurement excellence across the categories of ocean, air, Less than Container Load (LCL), Intercontinental rail and courier services across both inbound and outbound logistics.
• Driving continuous improvement within the Procurement, Billing & Reporting processes.
• Develop best procurement practices for this category, aligned with Purchasing directives and Supply Chain process.
• Developing the strategy to best leverage the position of Electrolux with shifting market dynamics.
• Providing leadership within the team and supporting team members development
• Defending and building business relations with key stakeholders (e.g. Supply Chain) in line with the vision, mission and operational expectations of Electrolux.
• Maintaining a proper network with both suppliers and internal and external business leaders to allow information to flow formally and informally.
• Developing and maintaining a successful longer-term strategy for Group Logistics supplier portfolio.
• Developing & maintaining strategic and contractual relationships with key suppliers within the SRM programme.
• Advocating and delivering on Value Based Sourcing objectives.
• Playing a key role in the sustainability strategy within Group logistics.
  
  

Who you are:

• Preferred 10+ years of experience in Purchasing in a multinational environment are needed during which awareness of cultural differences was developed.
• Experience in interacting with top management
• Capability to develop solutions together with the team while connecting to and including relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to organise and prioritise effectively, including prioritising the wellbeing of yourself and the team.
• Ability to work effectively independently or as a part of a multi-functional team.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, can do attitude and a drive towards delivery of continuous improvement project
