Electrical Design Engineer

Role description:

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with a proven experience in the design of electrical and special systems. The resource will participate in national and international projects and will be included in Arcadis’ integrated design teams, supporting the project managers in the various phases of design and planning, from the acquisition to the testing phase of the client’s orders.

Role accountabilities:

• Design of electrical systems, lighting, small power, panel boards, smoke detection, structured cabling, safety systems (CCTV, intruder, access control, etc.), plant design, single-line and block diagrams;
• Able to use technical softwares (electrical network, lighting, photovoltaic);
• Drafting of technical reports complete with technical specifications, Tender Specifications, Bills of quantities;
• Knowledge of current legislation;
• Interaction with colleagues from different disciplines in integrated design, external teams, customers, construction management, GCs;
• Desirable some experience as Clerk of work (site vists, control of materials in the field and approval forms for costs and qualities).
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Degree in Electric or Energetic Engineering, or Industrial Expert Diploma is required.
• Around 5-10 years of experience in similar roles for the electrical design in different types of building, as for example: residential, offices, industrial and hotels;
• A Good level of English (B1). Excellent level of English (B2/C1) would be a plus;
• Good use of the following softwares: Autocad, Primus, MS Office package, Ampere or Integra, Dialux, PV Solarius or PV Syst, Zeus, Flash; The knowledge of Revit will be considered a plus
• Teamwork attitude, preferably in multinational companies and integrated design of building systems;
• Excellent analysis and synthesis skills;
