Presenting Villa Serapian Ginza   We are proud to unveil Villa Serapian Ginza. Now open in Tokyo, this is the Maison’s first flagship store in Japan dedicated to the finest Italian Metiers d’Art.   The two-floor, 200 square metre boutique is a reference to Villa Mozart, our Milanese home. Conceived by Piero Portaluppi, an emblematic architect whose style helped shape the city’s distinctive aesthetic. The store’s facade in Maria Theresa Yellow nods to the recurring shade of Milanese buildings, while the door is inspired by Villa Mozart’s entrance.       The windows feature artwork by Venetian artist Lorenzo Vitturi, who worked closely with Murano artisans to create totem-like sculptures. This cements Serapian’s role as a supporter of the arts, in keeping with the Maison’s tradition as the family’s inner circle in the 1950s included some of the time’s most celebrated artists, among which was Giorgio de Chirico.   Stepping inside Villa Serapian Ginza is like being transported into a Milanese residence, an immersive experience where vintage design meets art and contemporary pieces. Guests are greeted on the ground floor where they can appreciate bespoke marble mosaic flooring, walls covered in precious DEDAR MILANO textiles and a Carlo Scarpa Sailing chandelier dominating the room. Unique works in the space include a 1960s piece by sculptor Riccardo Scarpa, marble tables from Budri featuring semi-precious gemstones, as well as furniture by Marta Sala Éditions. The room is anchored by a panel showcasing an impressive leather mosaic, an artistic interpretation of the full spectrum of leather hues and materials on offer. The bespoke atelier is led by a Master Artisan, who will offer guests the opportunity to create a made-to-measure Serapian creation. Clients will have the option of crafting a bespoke bag from more than 50 colours of nappa leathers, which can be freely mixed and matched through the iconic Mosaico craft.   We invite you to discover Villa Serapian Ginza and look forward to welcoming you at 7-7-1, Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo open Monday through Sunday from 11:00 to 20:00.   #Serapian #Mosaico #VillaSerapianGinza

ARTS & CRAFTS & DESIGN AT VILLA MOZART   A longstanding setting of excellence, the Serapian Bespoke service has been the Maison’s beating heart since it was founded in 1928. For the occasion of Milano Design Week 2024, Serapian celebrates high-craftsmanship in its many forms.   On the ground floor of the Villa takes place the eighth edition of Doppia Firma, a project of Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte and Living, which showcases never-before-seen works born from 15 creative partnerships between international designers and Milanese Masters of Art of excellence. Serapian together with the Milanese designer Cristina Celestino presents a Bespoke modular sofa in Mosaico woven leather, expressing the concept of duality between structure and softness.   Under the patronage of Serapian, on the first floor visitors discover “Secret Garden”, a tribute to the iconic “Secret Bag”. An exhibition of unique design pieces that have been specially conceived and designed by the young talents of Creative Academy Richemont and handcrafted by one of Italy's most accomplished glass masters, Simone Crestani.   The garden in front of the entrance to Villa Mozart will welcome visitors in the Atelier with “Intrecci Italiani”, a special installation of works by Bonacina, leader in the processing of rattan since 1889. During the week, there will be a special Atelier featuring artisans from Serapian and Bonacina at work in the creation of Bespoke design pieces in collaboration.   We invite you to discover these unique pieces at Via Mozart 9 – Villa Mozart from April the 18th to the 21st 2024   #Serapian #Mosaico #Milanodesignweek #craftsmanship #doppiafirma #artisans

A Mini Secret Bag in Black and Off White Mosaico by Serapian. A hallmark of the Maison since the 1970s, the Secret Bag was born from a bespoke request made by an elegant Milanese woman seeking a spacious and lightweight creation with a hidden pocket inside, hence the name “Secret”. Becoming a designer within one of the Richemont’s Maisons means having the unique opportunity and the privilege to reinterpret some of the most iconic design creations of all time. Would you dare?       Milano Fashion Week Presentation FW 24: A Journey from Milan to Tokyo   For the occasion of Milano Fashion Week, Serapian offered its guests an oneiric journey from Milan to Tokyo taking place in the iconic Villa Mozart, paying tribute to the upcoming opening of its new Japanese flagship store in Ginza. Villa Mozart was transformed by plant artist Satoshi Kawamoto creating an extraordinary installation of Italian and Japanese flowers. Chiso, one of the oldest kimono-makers in Japan (Kyoto, 1555) was also invited to participate with the presence of a master painter showcasing his art live. From this partnership, a limited edition capsule collection of bags was introduced featuring “Oneiric Flowers”. Part of this journey, the Maison also introduced the Ani Bag for Autumn/Winter 2024. Named after the wife of the founder’s son, it is an updated mini version of a bauletto travel bag part of the Maison’s archive. Subtle, elegant and folded at the sides to give a refined structure, like all Serapian bags the Anì is also perfect for those who are always on the go. #Serapian #Mosaico #MilanoFashionWeek

14 – The Magic Number   St. Valentine’s day has a profound meaning to Serapian.   The founder Stefano Serapian, his wife Gina and their son Ardavast were all born on February 14. Is this pure coincidence or a sign of of destiny?   The Maison is inspired by this special holiday to recreate a Milanese love story in the heart of Milan, as it happened between Stefano and Gina Serapian. #Serapian #Mosaico #SanValentino

Serapian’s Secret Banquet A feast of Serapian’s hand-crafted treasures become intricate centerpieces in the Maison’s Holiday campaign, a visual narrative inspired by a sumptuous still-life Renaissance banquet with a Milanese design twist. Seamlessly marrying historical opulence with a contemporary design edge, the campaign is an intimate invitation inside a Serapian soirée.     The campaign draws inspiration from the refined visual language of Italian Renaissance still-life paintings created by artists during the 15th and 16th centuries including Milan’s own Fede Galizia (1578–1630), who is considered a pioneer of the genre in Italy given her intense fascination with painting fruit and flowers.   The iconic and timeless creations featured in Serapian’s 2023 Holiday campaign are currently available to discover online, in the Maison’s boutiques and in our selected retailers; gifts that celebrate the enduring allure of the artisanal spirit.   #Serapian #Holiday #GiftGuide
