Last month we were honoured to attend Baker Hughes’ annual IET (Industrial & Energy Technology) Procurement & Logistics supplier conference held in Florence, Italy, where the company celebrated 12 suppliers that showed outstanding performance related to its core values. 126 global insiders and 400 people representing more than 200 companies were in attendance. At the event, #Renco was honoured to be named as the ‘Best Service Provider’. We are thrilled to announce the completion and acceptance certification of the "Petronà-WP1" Wind Farm, located between the municipalities of Petronà and Belcastro in the province of Catanzaro. This important milestone is the result of the collaboration between Renco and the Salinella Eolico company, representing a significant step forward in our corporate strategy aimed at sustainability and alternative energies. Equipped with 6 Vestas V-126 turbines, the park will generate 35 GWh/year of wind energy, contributing to the significant reduction of CO2 emissions by approximately 20,000 tonnes per year. We are proud to see the "Petronà-WP1" Wind Farm operational, actively contributing to the promotion of a healthier and more environmentally friendly world. Renco is excited to announce the development of the Hydrogen Marche project.   What is the Hydrogen Marche project?   The project is Renco's first project in the "Hydrogen Valley," an initiative supported by the European Commission as a national effort to increase the adoption of hydrogen production in Italy.   Today, hydrogen power generation is critical for its significant role in promoting environmental sustainability and improving energy security.   This exciting project, funded in part by Renco's project financing division and in part by public funds from Italy's PNRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan), aims to produce hydrogen to be used as a fuel for public transportation.   Ettore Cipolla, Civil Specialist Leader of Renco's BEnergy Unit, tells us about this project and its significance. #Renco #hydrogen #hydrogenvalley #pnrr

Meet Paola Calcagnini, she heads the tender office at Renco. On September 1st, Paola will celebrate 30 remarkable years at Renco. Her inspiring journey has seen her rise to become one of our most esteemed executives, reflecting her dedication and leadership. “I grew up at Renco and built my career within the company. When I arrived, I had graduated only a few years earlier, and I like to think that through my work, I have helped Renco grow into the company it is today. At the beginning, I had to navigate a very male-dominated world.
