The second year of our Kindergarten of the Lagoon project, presented by #PradaGroup and UNESCO Ocean part of #SEABEYOND, has just concluded. This year, children from Sant'Elena and Aquilone in #Venice schools enjoyed an outdoor-focused curriculum. Developed with the University of Bologna (Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna), the program covered the seven principles of #OceanLiteracy through hands-on exploration and outdoor learning. Collaborative focus groups with the teachers significantly strengthened the relationships among educators, enhancing the educational journey. We look forward to enhancing and expanding the project next year!

Today, the second edition of #ForestamiAcademy, the three-year project created to promote and raise awareness of the value of urban forestry for our cities presented by #PradaGroup and Forestami was held in Triennale Milano. Focusing on the correlation between nature and physical and mental health, #MariaChiaraPastore, Professor at #polimi and Scientific Director of #Forestami, opened the morning session together with #FrancescoFerrini, Professor of Arboriculture and Tree Cultivation at the University of Florence and #FedericaMarando, Scientific Officer at the European Commission – Joint Research Centre. The Academy’s final event of the year will take place on October 25 at #ParcoNordMilano, and will consist of an outdoor “Forest Bathing” lesson. Stay tuned!
