Sojourner Coffee x TEDxSingapore: The Roving Library Partnering with TEDxSingapore for the launch of their inaugural salon series, "The Roving Library," is a true honor! This series provides a distinguished platform to celebrate Singapore’s rich literary heritage by spotlighting the authors, poets, and playwrights who have profoundly shaped our literary landscape. 📖 The first chapter, held at Sojourner, featured the esteemed Khir Johari, who captivated us with his insights into Malay heritage through culinary traditions. His acclaimed book, "The Food of Singapore Malays," won Best Book of the Year in Singapore 2023, among many other accolades. During the session, I had the opportunity to share Sojourner’s story and how our philosophy of fostering discovery and introspection aligns perfectly with the mission of "The Roving Library." ☕️Just as Mr. Johari’s work highlights the beauty of Malay heritage through culinary arts, Sojourner aims to inspire a deeper appreciation of the rich heritage and cultural significance behind our coffee experience – expressed through our curated beans, coffee techniques, and design language. During the first half of 2024, we had the pleasure of being part of extraordinary events like Espresso Bar and Viaje Onírico, bringing the art of coffee to various cities in Mexico.
