🚄 Exciting advancements in railway technology! We had a challenging and successful week here in Bologna at the RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana testing circuit in San Donato. As part of one of the CN MOST projects, Mercitalia Intermodal, Lucchini RS, Politecnico di Milano, and ePEBBs Srl have been testing innovative IoT sensors in the real field for monitoring and detecting anomalies in wheelsets, suspensions, and braking systems. Special thanks to the colleagues from RFI SanDonato and Mercitalia Rail for supporting us in the various phases of our trials!

📢 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗥𝗦 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽! 📢 We are proud to announce the approval of our 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, highlighting a year of remarkable growth and success.  Here are some key achievements: 🔹𝗡𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁: 49.5 million euros, a 30% increase from 2022, and consolidated revenues of 574 million, a 9% increase from 2022. 🔹𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: development of AI projects and IoT solutions to increase the performance of our products, such as Smartset®, our intelligent wheelset that’s enjoying significant success in Europe, USA and China. 🔹𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: reduction of the Injury Frequency Rate for the fourth consecutive year at our Headquarters in Lovere, going from 7.54 to 5.9 in 2023, less than half the Italian metallurgical sector average and proving the effectiveness of our investments in terms of safety measures. 🔹𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀: CO2 emissions at 0.68 tons per ton of steel, over 60% below the global metallurgical sector average.
