We are thrilled to announce our latest initiative to contribute to the green hydrogen market and to decarbonization efforts! #GVS, a leading provider of advanced filtration solutions, is embarking on a project to build a new manufacturing facility for an innovative diaphragm for alkaline water electrolysis systems. This diaphragm, developed internally by our R&D department, showcases our expertise in membrane and filtration materials production. We're investing in a new facility at our headquarters in Zola Predosa (Bologna), with a capacity to supply 4 GW/year electrolyser capacity for green hydrogen production. This translates to approximately 320,000 tons of H2 per year! "This new product, entirely developed by GVS Research & Development, is a testament to our superior capabilities in developing highly innovative solutions for advanced filtration." Says our CEO, Massimo Scagliarini. We're proud to align with the European Hydrogen Strategy's goals and will submit a funding proposal to the EU Innovation Fund to further support our endeavors.
