The Minister of Communications Dr. Hayam Al-Yasiri announced at a press conference on Friday the 5th, that Iraq has surpassed the one terabit mark in international transport communications through the Civilization Path project. We are thrilled to have played a crucial role in the Civilization Path project passing through Iraq, part of the Silk Route Transit project stretching from Asia to Europe, owned by iQ Networks, one of the most significant companies of iQ Group. This project successfully increased the rate of international transport communications passing through Iraq to more than one tera in just two months. This achievement represents a safe and reliable route for international communications, enhancing our country's connectivity and establishing us as a key player in the region. We are proud to have played a critical role in this project, contributing to the development and recognition of Iraq's strategic geographical location. iQ Networks is the only company with end-to-end fibre infrastructure in Iraq and is currently operating the Silk Route Transit project at a high level, carrying traffic for multiple clients, which has significantly boosted our capabilities and strengthened Iraq's role in global connectivity.
