Skylark is an online travel company dedicated to making our clients’ vacations exceptional. We’re a travel agency built for the 21st century and have created a powerful online booking platform, so planning the best getaways can be done anytime, anywhere. We have also built a team of experienced, savvy travel advisors to advise, assist, support, and service all of your travels when you need it.

What does a Skylark Advisor do?

A Skylark Advisor is your dedicated contact to provide support or service when booking. These advisors are happy to step in upon request to smooth your booking process and maximize your vacation. When booking with Skylark, our advisors can be as hands-on or hands-off as necessary for your trip.

If you are only looking to book hotels receiving our Skylark Perks, Skylark.com is always available for you to use, and our advisors are happy to make recommendations. 

If your vacation plans are more complex, an advisor is ready to assist you with all the travel details. From flights, hotel reservations, and spa appointments to arranging guides, drivers, tours and excursions, behind-the-scenes access, private dining, helicopters, yachts, or any other request you can think of. All for a reasonable trip planning fee. Our fees vary depending on the extent of services provided, trip length, and the number of destinations in your itinerary.

What are the benefits of booking with Skylark?

Skylark’s website offers a curated collection of recommended hotels that recognize the quality of service, location, décor, rooms, amenities, plus additional criteria. Skylark has established deep, personal relationships with our hotel partners that allow us to offer additional Skylark Perks at many of the hotels on our platform, ensuring that our clients receive VIP treatment during their stay.

Do I need to be a member to use Skylark?

No, you do not need to be a member to book hotels using Skylark. However, our members receive access to exclusive rates and perks that we cannot share with the public. So we highly recommend registering today.

Why should I become a Skylark member?

What is your payment/cancellation policy?

We work alongside our featured hotels to always follow the hotels’ cancellation and payment policies. If you have any questions before booking, please reach out to our advisor team on our website using the chat box in the bottom-right corner of the screen. 

Who charges my card?

Unless otherwise stated, your card will only be charged by suppliers themselves (such as the hotel, airline, tour company, etc). If the hotel booking requires a deposit or prepayment, you should expect a charge at the time of booking. Otherwise, the card will be used to guarantee the reservation and will be charged upon arrival at the property. Please note all flights will be charged at the time of ticketing.

Why does my booking say pending?

Occasionally after booking a room, you will receive an email from Skylark indicating your booking is “pending”. Do not worry – hotel inventory can sometimes change and this occurs. Our team is already working to confirm your original booking. 

If for some reason the room or rate is no longer available; our team will be ready to offer you their recommended alternatives.

How can I cancel or modify my booking?

Reach out to our team via email, chat, text, or call to make any cancellations or modifications. Our team will be more than happy to assist.

I am traveling with kids/pets. How do I know if the room will accommodate us?

We recommend that you chat with an advisor on our chat box or email before booking, and a Skylark advisor will be happy to recommend rooms and/or hotels that best suit your needs. If you have already booked, make sure to notify the advisor team about the additional guests or pets and they will confirm that the room type is suitable for you.

How do I get in contact with an advisor during non-business hours?

We are a New York City-based company, so our business hours are 9am - 6pm ET. However, we also offer 24/7 support to our clients. If you are unable to get in contact with an advisor via email or text, please call our number 212-SKYLARK (212 - 759 - 5275) and press 1 to speak with our after-hours support team.
