You can’t change the past. If you’re offended, don’t go. It should have remained Splash Mountain, as originally built.
Wake up Buttercup!
Go Woke, go broke.
Thankfully there’s no need to change the past, as long as they focus on fixing the present. If you’re offended by the new retheme, follow your own advice: Don’t go.
Interesting how someone can comment on this subject with just another racist jab. The fact Disney makes ANY effort is a plus. People SHOULD know about what they are seeing and be educated. The change is a commendable step for Disney and a step in the right direction for validating Tiana.
True, stop trying to please certain people! I am not against redesigning your rides you can do what you want, but do it for a change of scenery not changes that make a few people happy. My grandkids love going there, but at their ages they don’t see people as being different, just people. Stop teaching woke agendas to our kids. The different racial people that I know, don’t want to teach their own kids this agenda. It just makes people angry. We have enough hatred in this country stop rocking the boat. Hands up to Tokyo.
Tsk tsk. Looks like somebody’s buttons are easily pushed. You can always tell when the lame attempts at insults start flying. Thanks for the laughs, sweetie. That was adorable.
I had a pleasant experience the day I went to enjoy the Tiana’s Bayou ride. A delay did happen for a few hours but everything went smooth after the delay.
Went and purchased Mickey Mint cookies, whoa those are great.
Japan doesn’t do woke. It’s not in its culture. Splash Mountain will remain as is. Tokyo Disneyland likes having their own rides seperate from other parks.
And Disney after I take over won’t do woke. Splash Mountain isn’t closed in the US, either and is up and running at this moment. I’ll be enjoying plunging into the Briar Patch with my kids as Owner of Disney in 2046 for the 75th of WDW and in 2055 for Disneyland’s centennial.
Bring back Splash Mountain. I have seen Song of the South and Uncle Remus is lovely. Wonderful songs and the animation is some of Disney’s best. I don’t care if some people think it’s problematic. I like it.
That’s nice. Meanwhile, Disney doesn’t care if some people like it. The good news for you is, you can continue enjoying your personal copy of the movie without Splash Mountain’s existence. If the loss of Splash Mountain becomes too much to bear, you’ve always got Tokyo. Start saving your yen.

Absolutely. I have no intention of riding this ridiculous rethemed ride. Splash Mountain was my all time favorite ride and I miss it.

If the changes are only to make “a few people” happy, then it should be easy to list the names of those people individually. Go ahead. We’ll wait.

You are a woke moron

Oh really
They could have given Tiana her own ride instead of this blackwashed patched up flop.
Giovanni
Rave reviews? I think that was a typo. The new ride is terrible.

I rather get neutered than ride ta’s ride. Bring back SPLASH MOUNTAIN.

Wow, I see attendance rising in Japan. I’m planning to go for this ride alone. WDW can fail!
