Dune 2 led Letterboxd's list of Top 25 films of 2024. With an average rating of 4.45 out of 5 stars, Dune 2 starred Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.
Mike Cheslick's Hundreds of Beavers came second on the list with an average rating of 4.15.
The Thai drama How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies was placed third with a rating of 4.15.
Another Zendaya movie that made the list was the sports drama, Challengers. It secured the fourth position with a rating of 4.04.
Kiran Rao's Laapata Ladies was the only Indian film to make the top 5 in this list. With a 4.03 rating, the film came fifth on the list.
Manjummel Boys is a survival thriller based on a true incident that took place in 2006. It is placed seventh on the list.
Aattam is a suspense chamber drama based on Twelve Angry Men, which was placed 10th in the list.
Bramayugam is a period folk horror starring Mammootty. This Malyalam film secured the 15th position.
Aavesham is a Malyalam action comedy which was placed 16th on the list.
Amar Singh Chamkila is a biographical drama directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. The second Hindi film in the list was placed on the 20th position.
Premalu is a Malyalam romantic comedy which was placed 25th in the list.
Academy award nominated Dev Patel's Monkey Man was placed 19th on the list. This film also stars Sobhita Dhulipala and Sikander Kher.
Inside Out 2 was one out of the two animated films that made the cut. It came 18th on the list.
Ultraman: Rising was the second animated film to make the list, it was placed 23rd.
