T20 WORLD CUP 2024 MOST 4S

Former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawarndene leads the chart of the most number of fours hit in the T20 World Cup history. Jayawarndene has smashed 111 boundaries in the 31 innings he has played. He is closely followed by India's Virat Kohli, who has notched up 103 boundaries in 27 innings. Former Sri Lanka opener Tilakratne Dilshan sits at No 3 with 101 fours in 35 innings. The current India captain Rohit Sharma is placed at No 4 with 91 fours to his name. Veteran Australia opener David Warner has 86 fours to his name and he is placed at No five.

The T20 World Cup 2024 started on June 2, 2024, with a match between neighbours USA and Canada. The 2024 edition of the World T20 is being jointly hosted by the West Indies and USA.

Of these 55 games, there will be 40 matches in the first round, followed by the Super 8s, followed by the semi-finals in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana. In the Super 8s phase, the eight teams will be split into two groups during the Super 8s, where all teams will have to play three matches against their group rivals to determine the semi-finalists. The T20 World Cup final will be held on June 29.
