Throughout its nine editions, the T20 World Cup has witnessed the best of attacking bowlers who have shone for their respective sides with the knack of extracting wickets.

South Africa seamer Anrich Nortje holds the best bowling strike rate in T20 World Cups, finding a wicket every 10.20 deliveries he bowls in the tournament. In over 40 overs, Nortje has picked up 24 wickets in the tournament. Nortje recorded the most economical four-overs spell and the best by a South African (4/7) in his side's T20 World Cup 2024 opener against Sri Lanka. He also possesses the best bowling average among bowlers who have sent down at least 20 overs in the tournament.
