In over 40 overs, Nortje has picked up 24 wickets in the tournament. Nortje recorded the most economical four-overs spell and the best by a South African (4/7) in his side's T20 World Cup 2024 opener against Sri Lanka. He also possesses the best bowling average among bowlers who have sent down at least 20 overs in the tournament.
