Punjab is going to polls in 1 phases to elect 13 members of Parliament from the state. In the last Lok Sabha elections in 2019, INC had won 8 seats, SAD 2, BJP 2, and AAP 1.
The total number of constituencies in Punjab are 13. The full list of constituencies are as follows - Amritsar, Anandpur Sahib, Bathinda, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Firozpur, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Khadoor Sahib, Ludhiana, Patiala, Sangrur.
A resurgent BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has registered two successive election victories - in 2014 and 2019. The Modi juggernaut has helped the saffron party consolidate its position in the run up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
