The Indian cricket team arrived in Mumbai, after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, on a chartered Vistara flight.

As the chartered Vistara flight from Delhi, with the Indian cricket team, arrived at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Thursday, they were welcomed with a majestic water cannon salute, marking their triumphant return from the T20 World Cup 2024.

The Indian cricket team, champions of the T20 World Cup 2024, arrived in New Delhi on Thursday after a five-day delay in Bridgetown, Barbados, due to a category 4 hurricane. They enjoyed breakfast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi before proceeding to Mumbai for a victory parade along the iconic Marine Drive.

The celebratory roadshow started from Nariman Point and travelled all the way along Marine Drive in Mumbai, where Wankhede Stadium is located.
