Praveen Prajapat, a talented dancer from Rajasthan’s Alwar, wowed America with his incredible “matka bhavai” performance on America’s Got Talent (AGT), earning a standing ovation. Prajapat, who has been mastering this folk dance for six years, balanced a pot atop 18 glasses, leaving everyone speechless.
However, the judges of the show––Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum––found themselves in a rare disagreement, voicing differing opinions on Prajapat’s act. While Vergara, Klum and Mandel stood and applauded Prajapat, Cowell remained seated, clapping stoically.
Vergara, visibly impressed, assured the Rajasthan native that he had immense potential in the competition. Cowell, on the other hand, remained skeptical about Prajapat’s future performances.

The video has already garnered nearly nine lakh views on Instagram. Social media users, in awe, praised the boy’s act. One user commented, “That’s why they say. My country is great.” Another user wrote, “His performance is incredible.” A third user said, “EAST AND WEST. OUR INDIA IS THE BEST.” Another user wrote, “Proud of you.”
When asked about his next act, Prajapat confidently mentioned balancing 101 earthen pots and four LPG gas cylinders. Despite Cowell’s dissent, the other three judges supported Prajapat. “I have trained two or three hours every day for the last 10 years just for this moment,” Prajapat revealed to the panel.
Attributing his skills to his father, Prajapat noted that this wasn’t his first appearance on reality television. He has previously competed in India’s Got Talent Season 9.
