On Tuesday, at an event held in Bengaluru, Xiaomi celebrated its 10th anniversary in India in style by showcasing its first car — the Xiaomi SU7, an electric vehicle with up to 673 ps of power. However, the brand confirmed that the Xiaomi SU7 will not be available for sale anytime soon in India, and the product was imported to India solely for showcasing.
Xiaomi entered India in 2014 with the launch of the Mi 3, the company’s flagship smartphone of that time for Rs 14,999, which was further reduced to Rs 13,999 and was available exclusively on Flipkart via flash sale. In the last 10 years, the company claims to have shipped 250 million smartphones in India and has shipped over 350 million devices, which include accessories, IoT, and lifestyle devices.

The electric car was the highlight of the event, but the brand also introduced a bunch of other products such as the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10, the most advanced vacuum cleaner from the company with features like auto dust collection, advanced laser-based navigation, up to 240 minutes of operating time for Rs 29,999.

Besides, the company also introduced the Redmi 13, one of the most affordable 5G-capable smartphones from the brand, powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE chip with a starting price of Rs 13,999 and will be available for purchase for as low as Rs 12,999 (after discounts) from July 12. The company also introduced the Redmi Buds 5C for Rs 1,999, which will be available for purchase starting July 20.
Lastly, Xiaomi added two new power banks, one of the most popular accessory categories from the company, and claims to have shipped 20 million powerbanks in the country. The new Xiaomi Pocket power bank is a compact device with a 10,000 mAh capacity with a built-in cable, which costs Rs 1,699, while the Xiaomi Power Bank 4i also offers 10,000 mAh battery capacity, with support for the Power Delivery standard, which can charge up to three devices at once for Rs 1,299. Both variants will be on sale starting July 15.
