These phones were introduced in Europe a few weeks back as devices that can help people who are looking for a digital detox. While the design of the Nokia 3210 is inspired by its 1999 counterpart, the Nokia 235 and 220 are simple looking feature phones with modern connectivity features, compatible with both Jio and Airtel.
The Nokia 3210 4G is priced at Rs 3,999, while the Nokia 235 4G and the Nokia 220 4G are priced at Rs 3,749 and 3,249, respectively. All three phones will be available via Amazon, the company’s official e-store and also from offline partners, starting from Tuesday.
Ravi Kunwar, VP, India & APAC, HMD called the Nokia 3210 4G “a cultural icon and a fun phone.” He also recalled that the “original Nokia 3210 holds a special place in many hearts as one of the best-selling mobile phones ever,” and further said that it was “one of Nokia’s most significant handsets.”
The Nokia 3210 4G is packed with eight useful cloud apps, including YouTube, YouTube Music, Weather, News, Sokoban, Cricket Score, 2048 Game, and Tetris. The phone is equipped with a 1,450 mAh battery along with a 2 megapixel camera and an LED flash.
Similarly, the Nokia 235 4G and the Nokia 220 have a 2.8-inch screen, while the Nokia 235 also has a 2 MP web camera. Both phones support payments through the National Payments Corporation of India’s (NCPI’s) UPI. All three models have a USB-C port for charging and also offer a 3.5mm headphone jack along with support for FM radio and an MP3 player.
