Three minutes of added time here. 

Georgia continue to put in a dogged charge with a shy at their second goal but it is deflected for a corner. Spain are still on the hunt for some late goals as Olmo sends one straight down the line for Mamadarshvili. That's the 12th shot on target tonight for Spain.

GOAL for Olmo! The juggernaut continues. Spain's mountain of shots on goal is finally paying dividends and Olmo extends the lead with a swift flick and shot low towards the left-post for goal. 

Yamal has another chance with a manic charge through the box. Mamadarshvili spots it in a flash and lunges forward to send the ball off the teenager's feet. 

75' GOAL FOR WILLIAMS! A spotless finish from Williams. Ruiz finds Niko clear on the far left and sends in a crisp cross. Niko scuttles in through past the defense and bolts the ball high into the net for a superb, clinical finish. The dagger has been drilled in deep on the Georgian dream now.

Tsitaishvili finds acres of space on the left as he storms in quickly only to send a fiery kick flying past the post even as the Georgian fans continue to egg on the players. Spain's attacking intent has tapered off slightly with the lead.

Georgia: Lochoshvili and Chakvetadze are off for Gocholeishvili and Davitashvili 

Spain: Morata and Cucurella are out. In come Grimaldo and Oyarzabal.

Mix-ups in the box and the Georgian defenders offer a tame pass to Yamal who steams in and sends the ball wide of the post. That should have been slotted in from such a distance. Georgia facing the heat now.

Spain is having all the control in terms of possession and chances into the box but Georgia continue to fend them off. They have failed to get the ball back through for counters and are holding on by a thread here.

Pedri is subbed off for Olmo. Carvajal has a bit of an injury scare but quickly regains his composure.

GOAL, RUIZ! 

Yamal takes the free kick outside the box and slots it straight in for Mamadarshvili to deflect it from the post. Yamal quickly gains control of the ball and swirls it in from the right for Rodri to neatly tuck the ball in past the goalie this time.

Georgie continue to fend off the impending attcks. Kvaratskhelia gets a break on and he sees Simon well advanced from the goal. Kvaratskhelia has a long-range shot at goal and he nearly pierces it through as the ball just falls off target. What a moment that would have been.

And we're back on as Spain attempt to regain momentum. They kick-off the second half.

And the referee blows his whistle. An enthralling first half has seen Spain concede for the first time in the tournament and squander a million chances before Rodri smashed one in to level the scores.

Two minutes of added time here in the first half. Georgia has put up an admirable show here, keeping Spain on their toes for the most part of the first 45 minutes.

The referee immediately brings the card out as Morata kicks Locoshvili during his tackle.

Kiteishvili has injured himself in the lead-up to the goal and he is being subbed off. Altunashvili is coming in.

Morata chips the ball in to Williams who has a go with a curler to the right. Mamardashvili makes his fifth save of the night as the ball deflects into a tussle beside the D and Rodri gets space and the angle for a sharp shot to the far end and he buries it past Mamardashvili this time. There is a goal check for off-side. GOAL FOR SPAIN!

Cucurella bursts through the defence with another flat ball to the right. Powerful shot there and Mamardashvili has to skim low to his left to deflect the ball from goal. Excellent defences from the Georgian goalkeeper so far. Spain continue to find themselves in choppy waters.

Niko nutmegs a defender and sets himself into the box only to lose the ball with his next step. Another sharp counter from Georgia as Kochorashvili breaks free and makes a run for it. He is found stranded on the right with minimal options and he loses his balance in the box in front of Cucurella.

Spain's impatience is on display now as Pedri, Rodri and Ruiz all take their chance at goal from a fair distance. Georgia would not mind as they make another sharp counter into goal at the other end in a flash.

Georgia skim the ball through the middle but lose steam as they near goal. Excellent counter from Spain as they gather the ball quickly. Ruiz sends a high cross to Yamal on the right but a timely header from the Georgian defender puts the ball out of play.

Fabian Ruiz has another probe at goal with a curler from outside the box. Mamardashvili scoops low to his left once again to block the goal again. Pressure deftly creeping up on Spain. They have had more than 9 shots on goal as opposed to Georgia's zero and still find themselves trailing here!

GOAL FOR GEORGIA! Would you believe it? They have burst through with their first major chance in the match. Kakabadze sends in a perfect curler in towards Kvaratskhelia and Le Normand gets in the way to direct it to his own net! OWN GOAL!

Pedri sends in a well-directed corner and Laporte heads it past the keeper on the left. A flurry of chances but Spain have not been decisive enough just yet.

Spain continue with a barrage of shots through the box but the Georgian defence continues to hold up a sturdy wall for now. It seems like Spain can break through any moment now as Georgia wait to make the most of possible counters.

A sharp corner there from Spain and a crisp header is turned towards goal. Mamardashvili dips low to his left and puts the ball out of danger. Spain take another corner in a flash but the attack has died down.

The game returns to the Georgian half with Spain cris-crossing the box from either side. Williams makes a pass for Cucurella who cuts it back into the box but is pushed away.

Spain continue to press hard but Georgia break the shackles and swarm through the left. Kakabadze goes on a one-on-one with Cucurella but fails to finally get past him on the flank. 

Carvajal swerves the ball in from the right and Pedri gets a sliding shot in towards goal, comfortably stopped by the goalkeeper. Spain have taken early control of possession with Williams and Ruiz propelling the ball further up.

Niko Williams bursts through the far left and curls in a cross to Morata who collects the ball but is cramped up a solid defensive line in the box. The ball is cleared away sharply from danger.

Georgia gets the ball rolling as Spain in red attack from right to left in the first-half.

A huge test for Georgia as they play on a stage where they have never fared before. The players walk out and line-up for the national anthems.

Centre-back Luka Lochoshvili believes Georga have found a liking among neutral supporters this tournament.

“I think first of all we have done that because of our performances, our game, but the most important thing that people see is that we are a small country, this is our first time here and we were not afraid of it,” he says 

“We showed everybody that we can play against all the teams. We keep fighting on the pitch until the end. The fans see the body language of our players in our games, this aggressiveness.”

Georges Mikautadze has been involved in all four goals for Georgia in the tournament, scoring thrice while assisting the other in the three matches thus far.

Spain have earned a clean sheet in all three matches so far in the tournament. The last time they had four clean sheets in a tournament was in Euro 2012, also the last time they won the title.

As per Opta Stats, Spain are undoubtedly the overwhelming favourites with an 82.4 percent chances of progressing to the quarterfinals as opposed to Georgia's 17.6%.

Spain will meet Georgia for the first time in a major tournament but has previously faced them in seven matches since 2012, winning six.

History will read this as an easy step for La Roja, for the Georgians have suffered brutal defeats at the hands of the former Euro champions in six meetings since 2012. But upsets seem to be a flavour of the week and fresh from their win over Portugal, Georgia could just take the spotlight away from Spain tonight with an inspired performance.
