UPPCS exam postponed to July; new schedule soon

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) today postponed the UPPCS exam 10 days before the exam date. The UPPCS exam was scheduled to be conducted on March 17, but has now been postponed to July.

The reason behind the delay in exam has not been specified yet. The Commission has not given a specific date for the exam in July, as of now.

“With reference to the Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services (Pvt) Examination-2024 advertised under the Commission’s Advertisement No. A-1/E-1/2024 dated 01-01-2024, it is hereby informed that the examination in question will be conducted by the Commission on 17th March, It was proposed to be held in 2024, the said examination is postponed due to unavoidable reasons, the examination in question is likely to be held in the month of July, information about which will be given in due course of time,” the official notice regarding UPPCS stated.

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) cancelled the preliminary examination for the recruitment of review officer/assistant review officer (RO/ARO) after several candidates made allegations of paper leak. The exam was held at 2,387 centres across 58 districts in the state, and a total of 10,76,004 registered candidates had participated for 411 vacancies.

The state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that a re-examination should be conducted within six months.
