The Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU) Kakinada on June 11 declared the results of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). Candidates who appeared in the AP EAPCET exam can check their results at the official website — cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
A total of 1,95,092 out of 2,58,374 candidates are qualified in the engineering stream and a total of 70,352 out of 80,766 are qualified in the Agriculture Stream, as per APSCHE.
Candidates should have their login credentials including registration number and AP EAPCET hall ticket number to check their AP EAMCET scorecard and rankcard.
Additionally, candidates can also check and download their rank card from mobile App APSCHE myCET, that can be downloaded from Google Play Store. The application also provides CET related information for applicant’s reference.
The ranks are calculated based on a combined score from the written exam and the class 12 board exam relevant subject performance. The written exam score is weighted three times more than the Class 12 board exam score, i.e.. (3:1). Previous year, OB and BC candidates needed to secure at least 40 marks out of 160 to qualify for the AP EAMCET 2023, While for ST and SC candidates there were no minimum qualifying marks.
If students have the same total score, then the rank is decided by looking at marks secured in EAMCET, then performance in Maths questions of the entrance exam, similar further Physics marks are taken into consideration, and then finally still the candidates have the same score then the same rank will be provided but during admission candidates by date of birth will provide the higher preference.
AP EAMCET exam is conducted by JNTU Anantapur in the behest of APSCHE, which opens the gateway for students seeking admission in BSc (Ag), BSc (hort), BVFC and AH, BFSC, BTech (FST), BSc (CA and BM), BPharma, BTech (bio-technology) or (BiPC), Pharm-d(BiPC), and BS (Nursing) (BiPC).
