Immediately after the announcement of Lok Sabha results, the government bungalow — 50, Ashoka Road — had become the centre of activity as TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu stayed there during his time in New Delhi.

This bungalow, at that time, was the official residence of former TDP MP Jayadev Galla. He did not contest the recent Lok Sabha elections and is learnt to have vacated it.

However, even after his departure, the residence remains a focal point for TDP activities, with Naidu again choosing to stay there during his current visit to the national capital. Sources say it is likely to be allocated to a senior TDP MP.

Add-on Amenities

The Delhi High Court stands out among high courts across states when it comes to infrastructure and public amenities. Now, it is about to have outlets of McDonald’s and South Indian food joint Sagar Ratna. These will be in addition to the old canteen for the Delhi HC Bar Association, and a Starbucks outlet.
