Over the past five years, I’ve written about my book storage issue more than a few times. The fact is that design books have overtaken my house, like rats in the attic. The two most used tools in a machinsts shop are the lathe and the hacksaw. The hacksaw is powered by belts, though not today since it's clearly out of alignment. The lathe is designed to spin metal to allow you to create anything round. The old time shop aren't as noisy as the current ones, though there was a lot more flapping of belts and squeeking.
