Responsible for the repair, maintenance, upgrade, deployment and installation of computer desktops, printers, peripherals as well as associated operating systems and application software.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues- Ensuring security through varying controls and the efficiency of IT infrastructure- Provide end-user and local office technical support and use the ticket management system, troubleshoot issues and outages and perform root cause analysis and recommendations- Participate in projects and tasks alongside Systems Engineers, Infrastructure Leads, and IT Managers.- Work closely with asset managers to ensure integrity of asset management systems Write technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
Skills/ Specifications-
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery- Experience with proactive management systems (Intune, SCCM, AutoPilot, etc.)- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365- Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language- Experience managing hybrid infrastructures (on-premises and cloud).- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
