Non-Linear Editing(NLE)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Non-Linear Editor (NLE) Producer to join our team. As an NLE Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the post-production process, from editing raw footage to finalizing projects for distribution. You will work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure that the creative vision of each project is realized effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content using non-linear editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Implement creative and technical decisions to enhance the visual storytelling of each project.
• Organize and manage project files, ensuring that assets are properly labeled and stored for future use.
• Incorporate client feedback and make necessary revisions to meet project deadlines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in editing techniques and software.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior editors, assisting them in developing their skills and techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Non-Linear Editor or similar role in the film, television, or digital media industry.
• Proficiency in non-linear editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, visual storytelling, and editing principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality video content.
• Bachelor’s degree in film production, digital media, or a related field (preferred).
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating previous editing work.
