Experience: 15-25 Years

Must Have

  • Fintech domain experience exclusively in US Credit & BNPL Payment Processor
  • Experience in leading software development projects and writing API Code

Requirements

  • 15 years of industry experience leading software development projects
  • Proven experience as Senior Manager Technology/IT Director
  • Leadership of Engineering and Infrastructure teams
  • Proven experience in financial services
  • Demonstrate a consistent track record of managing teams and large, strategic cross-functional projects
  • A proven track record of delivery
  • Experience and knowledge of a variety of delivery methodologies
  • Strong Microsoft Development stack experience
  • Experience operating in a cloud or hybrid cloud environment
  • Experience operating at the Executive Board level
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience in communicating with users, non-technical teams, and product management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with multifunctional teams, architects, product owners, and engineers
  • Support Strategic Program Steering groups
  • Make critical decisions that contribute to the success of the product
  • Proactively foresee issues and resolve them before they happen
  • Ensure teams have clear priorities and adequate resources
  • Empower the delivery team to self-coordinate
  • Be a multiplier and have a passion for the team and team members' success
  • Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members
  • Maintain high morale and motivate the delivery team to go above and beyond
  • Vocally advocate for technical excellence and help the teams make good decisions
  • Participate in architecture discussions and planning
  • Participate in multifunctional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams
  • Maintain and encourage our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals
