Deputy Key Account Manager

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Deputy Manger Key Accounts, you will drive the overall sales performance of the designated accounts/region. You will develop sales practices and co-ordinate with teams to maximise sales from assigned accounts and through new customer acquisition. (Region: Chandigarh)

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Act as main point of contact for the customers and therefore own the customer accounts .
  • Work closely with the manager to develop & execute strategic plans hence achieve sales and margin targets with responsible accounts and/or Dealers .
  • Exploring business expansion opportunities with existing customers and distributors to increase revenue and profitability .
  • Ensure customer satisfactions by handling customer needs, building strong professional relationships , ensuring quality products and services delivered.
  • Provide technical support through effective troubleshooting and issue resolution for the customers.
  • Ensure right channelisation of internal resources (time, effort, cost, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer experience, such as : Product Management, R&D, TechCentres, Operations & Supply Chain, Finance, and other sales colleagues .
  • Implement annual price increases and new product introductions in your region/assigned accounts.
  • Enable external distribution partners/dealers to become independent and act as extended sales team for the organisation .
  • Perform related sales tasks such as process management through C4C, order processing, timely payment collections , and accurate Sales forecasting.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse the competitive landscape.

Skills You Bring:

  • Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E – Chemical / Electroplating or M.Sc.
  • Experience: 5 - 7 years of exp. from relevant/related industry
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Good communication skills in English and regional language (preferred)
  • Field experience in Plating and Chemical processes in the manufacturing of Printed Circuit board /Electronic coatings. (preferred)
  • Key competencies: Customer orientation, Relationship building, Business Acumen, Product and Service expertise, delivering the solution, resilience, negotiations, strong sense of ownership amongst others
