About the role

If you join us, you’ll be talking directly to all our users - existing or potential! The Content and Communications team in the B2C Marketing team designs all the stories and narratives for the smallcase brand. This role will focus on the SEO aspect of storytelling.

We’re excited to catch up if you:

• Love writing (that’s a must!)
• Love consuming content - any form, shape or manner
• Have a never-say-never attitude, no matter how challenging things get
• Have an aptitude for dynamic and fast-paced work environments

However, you should, also:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer or similar role for 1-3 year
• Create high-quality, error-free, original long-form SEO content that is relevant to the smallcase/Tickertape brand
• Write blog posts that educate readers about smallcase products & services
• Edit content written by peers or external agencies to ensure they are error-free and aligned with our brand voice
• Be able to implement fundamental SEO strategies into blog posts
• Be up to maintain and actively manage blog posts as needed
• Know the basics of WordPress or other related tools
• Have exceptional grammar, research, fact-checking, writing, and editing skills
