What are the most important leadership skills for E-Commerce startups?
I have learnt it the hard way, that as simple as it is to start an e-commerce store, it is excruciatingly difficult to scale one and that too profitably. In an environment where barriers to entry are so low and product replication is common, there are limited to moats to preserving one's identity as a website. Everything that is sold online can be replicated unless you have developed some core product IP like a trade secret or a patented technology etc. The only reason for success I've seen online is constant innovation and hardcore resilience by Founders and their teams

What are the most important leadership skills for E-Commerce startups?
Like in any other initiative in business & life, you are as good as the team you work with. E-commerce requires pillars that are built around - Marketing & Advertising - Supply Chain & Logistics - Branding - Technology - Product R&D A Founder will mostly have knowledge in all of these areas but as the team scales up, these functions have to be led by rockstar leaders who are superb at each of these individually and can utilise tech to have over the top outcomes for everyone

What are some innovative fundraising ideas to stand out in a crowded market?
As I've learned from fund raising experience, any form of investment is based on trust and faith on the person selling that idea or dream. The most long lasting investment based partnership are the ones where the investor and the entrprenuer have met each other in a physical setting over a couple of meetings and have mutual comfort with each other - have discussed all possible scenarios of outcome without any hassles - and work towards a mutual win-win. The risks and downside should be shared between both parties as well and that leads to success even in times of failures, as the relationship remains preserved

What are some innovative fundraising ideas to stand out in a crowded market?
I have led crowdfunding campaigns in the past and the following pointers should be considered in depth before you start out - Reach of the platform you're using - Category depth on the platform - Minimum ticket size by a participant - Terms at which they are entering or signing up should be clear to them - Terms you're offering should be crystal clear to you and - All open R&D and WIP work in progress should be mentioned clearly - All risks should be laid out for participants/endorsers - Platform fees should be clear
