Hey there!!! Back here with #21DaysofRTL challenge day10: Self-reloading structured counter using load value Tricky to understand this type of Counter but it is easy if you are keen enough to understand the concept and the code behind the logic. Well automatically loading a specific count value into it's register without needing manual intervention, returning to main counting loop, avoiding any ways of traps/errors -counter. Timing and control circuits, measurement devices, communication systems, etc... -examples for this. Can you really speed up a CPU by 100x with some added "smarts"? The concept is intriguing - perfectly scheduling instructions and hiding memory latency. VLIW aimed to achieve this through efficient instruction packaging and multiple threads, like @Cray XMT's massively multi-threaded architectures. As someone who has worked on processor design, I understand the challenge of making this work practically with existing programs. That's why I'm somewhat skeptical of claims made by Finnish startup Flow Computing. However, I'm open to being convinced otherwise.
