As a consumer, I often wondered why I couldn't pay directly from my bank account to a merchant. With HyperUPI, this is now a reality! 'GenAI is easier to say in the boardroom and difficult to get right for many SaaS companies'. When speaking to multiple technology providers, we have observed this as well. I will go further to suggest that many existing players will find it difficult to move to agentic workflows meaningfully. Beyond document summarization, and basic AI uses. The real problem is not technology. It is the company's DNA and processes, and a large installed base of customers. Going from building deterministic systems to building non-deterministic systems with high accuracy is a different skill set and hard to pivot to quickly. #aiagents #genai

Today, June 29th, marks 9 years of our launch with just two completed bookings! Some people said it was impossible, other's said the TAM wasn't big enough, but here we are today 9 years, profitable, growing and many imitators entering the market! It's rather flattering we're seeing heavily-funded entrants despite them not being able to create a profitable core business of their own. It also further validates our persistence, patience and business aptitude 😊 From day one, we've focused on positive unit economics, building a scalable tech-stack and not throwing money at problems. With our limited resources, we strived to create proper product-market fit that would sustainably benefit consumers and driver partners, all while generating enough net revenue to build a strong brand and team. It's not just $6m that has been invested, but north of $30m from proceeds we've reinvested. Zepto, a Quick commerce company, has secured $665 million in its Series F funding round from new investors Avenir, Lightspeed, and Avra (Anu Hariharan’s new fund), among others. 🌟 Key Highlights: Some of the existing investors Glade Brook, Nexus, and StepStone co-led the round with Goodwater and Lachy Groom doubling down their stakes as well. As per the startup, the funding will be used to compete with other two deep-pocketed players, BlinkIt and Swiggy Instamart. Unlike the West, quick commerce operators in India claim to have found a sustainable model. Zepto has seen a rapid rise in its gross merchandise volume(GMV) over three years and currently has a GMV run-rate of $1.2 billion, that is doubling every year as per Google. Time to analyse, from a product managers lens, some of the features they have incorporated in their product to achieve these numbers. In this analagy, I have used only one screen (homepage) and analysed the features and product design and flow on/from same screen. #productmanagement #product
