“I worked with Priyanka when we were both editors of the same magazine. What I admired most about her was her constant endeavor to improve her work and persevere to do better with each project, each month. She also mastered the knack of working under high-pressure publishing deadlines and getting things done without a fuss. She juggled multiple jobs simultaneously, and though she must have felt the pressure, she seldom showed it. Priyanka is a hardworking, diligent employee with commendable attention to detail, and I’ve personally learned a lot from her.”

What are the key elements of a compelling story for media attention?
- Am I addressing my target audience's pain points? How? - Have I done my research? - Is my copy clean and well-written? - Do I have a hook that makes me excited about working on the story above all else? - Am I applying the lessons learned from my previous pieces?

How can you edit content effectively for blogs, social media, and email newsletters?
If you think writing is the hardest part, wait until you have to edit your work and "kill your darlings". Some tips to help ease the process: - Before editing, read the copy twice. Barring cosmetic edits, refrain from editing at this stage. - Edit as if each word costs money. - Let the copy rest between two rounds of edits. - To retain the writer's voice in case of someone else's copy, assume the copy's written by you. Would you carry your byline the way your edited copy reads? Edit accordingly. - Read each sentence aloud to know how it sounds. - Use checklists to ensure you've covered all grounds. (You don't want missing CTAs, do you?) - Tap into AI tools such as Grammarly and ChatGPT in the absence of a human editor.
