Speaking at ET BrandEquity's India Communications Summit, Wholsum Foods’ Cofounder Meghana Narayan shared insights on what purpose means to the company. A big thank you to the organizers for a day of thought-provoking sessions. Highlights from Meghana’s Keynote: “We defined our North Stars, the guiding principles we want to live by even when no one is watching 🌏 the goals that enable our teams not to forget that in the long run, we are looking at how every stakeholder can win from this business” Better Nutrition Outcomes🍓 The first North Star was to never make a product that the founders and team at Slurrp Farm would not feed their own children: "our own families eat what we make - every single day - and as mothers ourselves, bringing nutritious, healthy food to children is the reason we exist.” Committed to Sustainability🌱 The second North Star was to build environmental and social impact and good governance (ESG) into the business model: “we already use a better for the planet grain - millet - that consumes a lot less water than other staples, and as a team we are committed to sustainability by reducing plastic usage and evaluating the business’s carbon footprint”. https://lnkd.in/gQ_Pp_EW #Purpose #ESG #Sustainability

Aditya Ghosh's session on the Pursuit of Service Excellence was one of the highlights of an exciting week for our leadership at all levels. Aditya shared fascinating perspectives on how some of the worlds' most diverse businesses define excellence, and how they build the cultures that embody that. Some of our learnings Performance⚡From high octane pit stops of F1 circuits, to the Japanese Shinkansen bullet train's "miracle 7 minute" cleaning turnover - we learnt how precision, purpose and a strong foundation of trust creates a system that ensures amazing results, every time. Teamwork⚡An insider's tour of Chourangi, the London restaurant redefining notions of Indian food, beautifully captured the essence of a team creating a nuanced, worldclass experience: everyone here knows they are important. Even when only the customer facing service appears to get the credit, the best teams know the magic also happens at every line chef, sales representative and crucial warehouse checkpoint. Extreme Ownership⚡Taking responsibility to another level, a US Navy Seal's extreme courage and humility in taking full ownership in a wartime crisis was a powerful pointer to qualities in business leaders who inspire teams to consistently excel. Thank you Aditya and Homage for all your mentorship and guidance over the years!
