It’s heartening to witness discussions about the importance of safety training in our country. Sadly, it takes a tragic event to highlight the necessity of it. But what if we could proactively equip ourselves with life-saving skills? Imagine the satisfaction of being able to save a life when it matters most. Unfortunately, even public places like airports sometimes struggle to handle emergencies effectively. While the man in the video was fortunate to have a medical professional nearby, relying solely on chance isn’t a sustainable approach. We firmly believe that our government should make CPR and other essential emergency skills mandatory for everyone. Let’s prioritize safety and empower individuals to respond effectively in critical situations! What are your thoughts on this? Do let us know!

FIRST RESPONDERS. A 60 years old man had collapsed due to heart attack in Delhi Airport, he was very lucky that a doctor was there to revive him , for nearly 5 mins the doctor kept on asking for some help or emergency assistance, there was none. This raises very serious concerns regarding emergency assistance to people in public area's like Airports, Railway stations, Bus Terminals etc. In the case of India, while there isn't a specific legislatively backed right to emergency medical care, judgments from the Supreme Court have interpreted it as a fundamental right under Article 21 of the Constitution--right to life and liberty. The absence of a legislative system has not only hindered the assurance of trauma care but has also contributed to a concerning rise in death and disability across the country. India should make it mandatory for the citizens to learn about CPR and other emergency assistance to people who are in distress . In Germany, it’s part of the first aid course which is a mandatory step to get a driving license. Story:- Kudos to this great doctor who managed to save the life of this 60 years old man, her courage and passion is so inspirational and motivational . Her insistence and zeal to bring back the person was really remarkable, hope she is recognised and celebrated!!!

It's International Youth Skills Day today. And in our view, one of the most important and non-negotiable skills for today's youth is a skill that can empower them to save a life in need. CPR is one such skill. Why is CPR such an important skill to have, and what difference does it make? Let's understand. Cardiac Arrest Can Happen Anywhere: 73.4% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur at home. Knowing CPR increases the chances of survival before professional help arrives. Immediate Action Saves Lives: Only 2% Indians are aware about this life-saving skill. Bystander CPR can triple the chances of survival in a cardiac arrest. Can you imagine? It teaches us compassion and responsibility: CPR training teaches empathy and the importance of helping others. The youth can become compassionate, responsible citizens. Helps in critical thinking: CPR demands quick problem-solving – a skill useful in any career. Teaches us teamwork and communication: Performing CPR involves effective teamwork – which is also essential for success in life. What are your views on this? Have you learnt how to administer CPR? Let us know in the comments :)

Burn First Aid Tips 🔥 Whether it’s a minor burn or a more serious injury, knowing how to provide first aid for burns is crucial. Here are some steps to follow: Cool the Burn: Hold the affected area under cool running water for about 10-20 min. If it’s a facial burn, apply a cool, wet cloth until the pain eases. Remove Tight Items: Take off any rings or tight clothing quickly and gently to prevent swelling. Bandage the Burn: Cover the burn with a clean bandage, wrapping it loosely to avoid pressure on the skin. Remember, major burns require emergency medical help. If in doubt, seek professional assistance. Stay safe! Did you find these tips useful? Let us know in the comments. 🧡 To book your personalised and certified first aid training, get in touch with us.

Did you know that the various emergency numbers—100, 101, 108, etc.—have now been integrated into a single emergency number, 112? This is part of a pan-India network for a single emergency helpline through which people can seek immediate assistance. It is advisable to save this number for potential future emergencies. Stay safe! 🧡

We are incredibly moved by the wave of positive feedback we’ve received from our recent CPR training session with the Goodfellows India. Each review is a testament to the power of knowledge and the confidence of preparedness. CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is more than just a skill. It’s a lifeline that anyone can extend in a moment of crisis. It’s the difference between despair and hope, between loss and survival. Our participants have not just learned a skill, they’ve embraced a responsibility. A responsibility to be there for their fellow humans in the most critical moments. And for that, we couldn’t be prouder. For us, this is just the beginning. We believe that everyone should be equipped with this life-saving skill. Because emergencies don’t wait. They don’t schedule appointments. They occur when we least expect them. And when they do, will we be ready? Because you never know, the life you can potentially save with CPR could be of someone you love. Together, let’s create a world where every heartbeat matters! Just in touch with us to schedule your training and be prepared to make a meaningful difference around you :) To book a training or to get in touch with us, please visit our website : www.shvaasindia.com or you can contact us on : 8591671711
