About us
Pehchaan is a creator ecosystem. We collaborate with passionate creators from all walks of life to curate unique experiences for our guests. We do this with a strong team of generalists from varied backgrounds like military, engineering, design, marketing, public service built over the core values of collaboration, creativity & compassion and trained on specialised jobs necessary to run an effective creator ecosystem. Our market offerings are experiences. These are staged through human protagonists called Pehchaan Hosts. Normally, our experiences are 2-3 hours long, conducted over weekends in tier 1 cities and designed to engage 20-25 guests in an intimate setting over a shared passion. We go the extra mile in designing the best possible experiences for our guests in specifically two ways - one, we select the most apt hosts to make the experiences memorable and sensational based on our internal Host Assessment Matrix. Second, once we select our Hosts, we build an entire creative brand centred around their passion and with a clear monthly brand Calendar of events ensuring community building is given its due time. Numbers which motivate us are - 1. How much our Hosts earn every month by following their passion in the experience economy of India through us. 2. How much our Experience Designers make working with us 3. How many communities we build over shared passions through Pehchaan Creative Brands

Reflecting on an incredible journey at ThePehchaanCo! From the inception of an idea that evolved over a span of two years, passing through numerous phases and embarking on its unique journey, my dear course mate Sandarsh Mehndiratta and I joined forces to establish ThePehchaanCo. This venture began to take shape after our retirement from the Indian Air Force, when Sandarsh found more interesting partners to build this and it has since grown into something truly remarkable. Over the past months, I've been deeply involved in various aspects of our company's growth: Operations Management, Designing unique and captivating experiences with passionate individuals, Forging valuable partnerships with various stakeholders, Crafting financial projections to Developing comprehensive operation manuals and essential policies alongside my dedicated partner Vivek Umapathi, Understanding HR Management and many more. Building something from the ground up with no prior experience has been a challenging yet immensely rewarding journey. But, just like in the military, we're a team of true fighters, bringing unwavering dedication and value to the table. This journey has taught me that with determination, collaboration, and a shared vision, we can accomplish remarkable things. My last quarter at ThePehchaanCo was about curating a training experience for 18-21 year olds so that they seamlessly and confidently join the Pehchaan workforce. Here are some key features of this training & assessment module 1. The training and assessment are combined in an offline 6 hour *blended learning* curriculum. We call it the 'Generalist Advantage Workshop'. 2. Assessment & Training is carried out on Imaginative Thinking/Big Picture Thinking, Written & Verbal Articulation, Empathy, Emotional Intelligence and Design Thought. 3. Best performers at these 6 hour workshops are offered a paid 3 month part time project (rural/urban) which further tests perseverance, discipline and performance in real life situations. 4. Then, one becomes an Experience Designer at Pehchaan. We'll be out with our first hiring rally this winter for students between 18-21 yr old and a passion to serve the society.
