The ICF Mumbai Charter Chapter was honoured to host a panel discussion on May 18th during #InternationalCoachingWeek. We attracted participants worldwide, including Brazil, Canada, Dubai, Israel, Malaysia, Portugal, and the US. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the impact of global collaboration and our shared interest in advancing leadership. The theme was "Navigating the Future: From Reaction to Reflection in Leadership." Our expert panelists, whose insights were invaluable, offered perspectives that resonated deeply with all of us. The issues discussed gave us much to reflect on and will undoubtedly shape the way we work with our clients at various levels. On the 12th of June, we had a very eye-opening session on the impact of #languagesensitivity in building organizations and cultures that are diverse, equitable, inclusive and foster belonging (DEIB). The session began with looking at data on inclusion and its connection to language. How did the use of certain terms and words promote or corrode inclusion? And then there were some powerful activities to create understanding and learning. The first activity allowed us to understand the privilege that DEIB brings to an individual? How does a person feel, think and act when he or she is psychologically safe? And then there was an exploration of commonly used terms that could actually hinder DEIB sensitivity and the alternatives for them via a wonderful interactive exercise. On May 24th, we had the pleasure of delivering impactful group coaching sessions to the Team Leads and Assistant Managers at KServe BPO Pvt. Ltd., a leading BPO in Thane. The sessions focused on enhancing leadership and people management skills, which are crucial for driving team success and organizational growth. The coaching experience was enriching, with highly positive feedback from Kserve's team. Participants appreciated the interactive format and the practical takeaways they could implement immediately. Seeing the enthusiasm and commitment to personal and professional growth was heartening. The ICF Mumbai Charter Chapter embarks on a journey of impact and transformation for the young leaders of tomorrow, by signing an MOU with VESIM - Vivekanand Institute of Management Studies and Research for providing coaching to their MBA students The seeds of growth was planted couple of months ago, when the Corporate Partnerships team comprising of Raajesh H Idnaanii , Nivedita Chandra innermined, Rahul Shah and Anju Saini, led by Priti Gupta, PCC ICF had conducted an in-person awareness seminar for their students which was well received by them and the management alike.  The power of unlocking one’s potential to chart a future that creates opportunities to maximise their performance spoke loud and clear for the students during this session. Post conversations, we have finally reached the stage of the MOU that marks a new beginning both for the Chapter and the Institute. We sincerely thank Satish Kumar Sheshnarayan Modh, Director VESIM, for investing in the empowerment and future of his students, and to Prof. pallavi vartak for being instrumental in the collaboration.
