Allyship in action all round this week, from our API manufacturing units, to our India business teams, and our Women Safety Ambassadors team! As part of our commitment to building an inclusive and diverse workplace, our API manufacturing teams have actively begun inducting women employees in our core operations such as clean rooms, intermediate areas, effluent treatment plants, and quality control functions. The team has also started a night shift (called C shift) for Quality Control. This move aims to maximise equipment use and productivity and promote equal opportunities regardless of gender. The measures taken to address infrastructural requirements and facilitate the transition for women colleagues demonstrate a comprehensive approach to inclusion. Our India business team conducted a "Men as Allies - Train the Trainer" workshop for leaders from sales, marketing, and support functions. This full-day workshop focused on exploring the core concepts of ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’, uncovering unconscious biases, and strategies to foster a supportive and inclusive workplace where every individual can realise their full potential. Our Women Safety Ambassadors (WSA) have been actively engaging in various initiatives. Highlights include addressing 90 women at Chitkara University, conducting personal safety awareness sessions at various corporate offices, and educating 160 B Pharmacy students at Raghu College of Pharmacy. Additionally, safety training sessions were held for our Self-Managed Teams at their hostel premises, for an open dialogue on safety. We ensure cluster-wise meetups every quarter to strengthen our team, and WSAs are felicitated by the site leadership to keep up the motivation. #GoodHealthCantWait #WeAreDrReddys #SDG5 (gender equality) #DEImatters
