I frequently contribute my thoughts and opinions to the EY Entrepreneurs Council, and one recent topic they asked me about is #AI and the risks associated with it, especially given its newness and rapid-fire advancement.    Mainly my advice about AI for #supplychain businesses revolves around data – getting all of the right kinds of data gathered across your internal and external sources, and wisely applying AI tools so better, faster, more trustworthy real-time decisions can be made involving it.    The first part involves ecosystem integration technology, which is what Cleo does through what we call supply chain convergence. The second part, applied AI, ultimately is a customer intimacy play, i.e., making sure all your enterprise and ecosystem data is being looked at with the customer experience in mind. AI engines can do great things – up to a point.
