Celebrating Our Amazing CIDS-AIS Team Break! No doubt, our Q2, 2024 team-outing, "BONDING", is going down in history as one of the BEST! 🎉🤘 And guess the venue? The captivating "FORESTREE"! Yep, it was an unlimited rollercoaster of fun and laughter, and we can't help but relive every minute of it!We kicked off the day with a string of exciting and engaging activities packaged under our fun-learning initiative, focusing on team-building and team bonding. This gave us a unique opportunity to discover and explore depths of each other’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as out-of-the-box thinking patterns, team-player personas, and leadership qualities. Indeed, it was enlightening as we had a different captain steering each activity!You can bet your last penny we didn't starve! There was a delightful spread of multi-cuisines ranging from Indian delectables to Chinese delicacies. The ambiance was nothing short of stellar, matched with top-notch service from the support staff.Did I mention the array of amenities we had access to? From thrilling zip-line activities to a beautifully maintained swimming pool, and a collection of indoor games like snooker, table tennis, chess and so much more!As the day gave way to a breathtaking sunset, our teammates showed off their hidden talents; singing, dancing and more! Believe it or not, we discovered we have some hilarious stand-up comedians amongst us who kept us rolling with laughter until the wee hours of the morning!In a nutshell, this fantastic break wasn't just about fun; it was packed with priceless memories, valuable learnings and a much-needed break from routine.We can only imagine what's in store for our next outing! Welcome to yet another episode of #KoffeeKonnect where we had conversation with our Product Engineering teams. Our COO, Pramod Guttal, and Director – HR, Suman P are always keen on getting to know how everyone is fairing at Applied Systems India. They are approachable and make sure that everyone is comfortable coming to them with issues or suggestions. This time around, we had a blend of two teams who work on the same project, and we wanted to extend the interaction beyond formal meetings and work discussions. Hence, everyone went around introducing themselves. This turned out to be a wonderful activity because the introductions did not stop with just their names or designations. Members went on to talk about the number of languages they know, what food they like to eat, what their hobbies are and what they do on the weekends. Weekend activities brought us to the importance of sports in life. Sports really help everybody build the necessary confidence, discipline, teamwork that is required in their professional front too. Since the elections are taking place in India, they discussed if they had exercised their right to vote. Once both the teams were better acquainted over a mango-dry fruit smoothie (trying something other than coffee this time), the conversation moved to their experiences in Applied Systems India. Team members who had worked in other companies had a few inputs that they brought to the table. They were content with the challenging technologies that Applied Systems India uses. And they were also happy with their remote work option. In a nutshell, they said that the environment and the work culture are so satisfying at Applied Systems. Moving on to the project, they mentioned that early on, the teams faced significant challenges, but this also provided a high learning curve. And now they have evolved with the projects, they are self-reliant and can independently handle tasks with minimum dependency. Over time, work has become smoother, and they are now engaging their expertise in areas that require more attention. Pramod Guttal and Suman P also agreed that they enjoy their own work here in Applied Systems India, as do a lot of the employees working here. The leadership team itself is proof that the company is doing many things right, as it comprises of employees who have been with us since Day 1 and grown with the organization over the last 20 years. We are one of the best in our domain and the company has been doing phenomenally well, by consistently surpassing the set business goals. Stay tuned for more episodes of #KoffeeKonnect!
