Donor Advised Funds
The BGA accepts a range of gifts, including contributions made from donor-advised funds, family foundations and other charitable funds. These gifts are not eligible to receive non-tax-deductible benefits.
Honor and Memorial Gifts
Honor a friend or loved one by donating to the BGA in their name. With a memorial or honorary gift to the BGA, you can:
- Remember someone special
- Celebrate a birthday, anniversary or milestone
- Observe an accomplishment
- Say thank you
If you want to make a memorial or honorary gift, you may mail it to the office or give online. Please be sure to list the name of the person you wish to honor or remember when making the gift. We will convey your thoughtful donation to either the honoree or the family of the person being remembered. The amount, however, remains private. IRA Distribution
If you are 70½ or older, you can direct a one-time or recurring distribution from your traditional or Roth IRA to the BGA. When your distribution goes directly to the BGA, it is not subject to federal income tax. While this is an efficient way to donate, please consult a qualified advisor to ensure it’s right for you.
Matching Gifts
The BGA’s employer matching gift program provides an easy way to increase the impact of your donation through corporate matching gifts. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer and send it—completed and signed—along with your gift to the BGA. We will do the rest!
