Playtika was founded in Israel. Israel is the heart and soul of our company.  And when it bleeds - we bleed. Since the brutal attacks on Saturday Oct 7, our teams have been working relentlessly, trying to support our southern employees, their families, civilians and troops in the south - providing housing solutions in safer areas, delivering food and supply donations to those in need. Our Playtikans have also been constantly working to support their friends and families, not only opening their homes and hearts, but also volunteering and donating, warming our hearts. We condemn these brutal and violent attacks, and pray for better, safer times. #WeStandWithIsrael

Recently, our Product Managers joined forces with mental health professionals, as we took part in a special Product Hackathon alongside other gaming companies in Israel at Tel Aviv Medical Center (Ichilov), aimed at improving the lives of PTSD patients. Throughout the hackathon day, we gathered to come up with meaningful ways to gamify procedures that help those who need care - as well as therapists who could use a new method to help their patients. The initiative, led by the medical center team, focused on creating innovative tools that harness the therapeutic potential of gaming to address PTSD, especially urgent in the aftermath of the tragic events of October 7th. Thanks to our dedicated team for working hard to make a real difference, as well as the medical staff that led this important initiative and bring it to life. Sharing is caring. It may sound corny, but when it comes to our first-ever VIP Account Managers Clan meeting, it's actually true. As account managers, they support our players' communities, get crucial feedback from them, and help improve their personalized playing experience. With the first clan meeting, led by our champions Gal Nof and Gal Ben Arosh, VIP Account Managers across Playtika studios gathered to create meaningful and insightful connections with their peers and share ideas, insights, and learnings - which in turn will help them better support their communities and take players' experience to another level. With more meetings, professional lectures and discussions, and round-table collaborations, we can't wait to see what's next for our players! It is especially this year, with violence at an all-time high*, that the LGBTQ community has proven how inseparable it is to the fabric of Israeli society. Each and every one of us has something to be proud of. In a special 2024 Pride Month photoshoot, our participating LGBTikans brought their identity and showed their pride in a stunning visual way. We also partnered with IGY - Israel Gay Movement for a deep, ongoing collaboration in order to make a real difference ; Through professional guidance to LGBTQ students to help them start their careers, weekly volunteer work with teens, and taking part in the "Jane Addams" project aiding LGBTQ teens, we aim to make a real change. We're proud to issue this photoshoot magazine,  proud to be partnering with the future generation and youth of IGY, but mostly proud of our LGBTikans. Wear your colors proudly, strong, and bright. Another day of learning and innovation for our R&D Playtikans worldwide  as they had a great working day with GitHub Copilot and Microsoft, spearheaded by our QA Group Manager, Nadav Wisberg.   As one of just 40 companies worldwide to host this unique session, our team of 80 champions from all across business units gathered to learn how to use GitHub Copilot to handle specific development use cases from the GitHub developers themselves: ✏️ How to accelerate code development  ✏️ Generate comprehensive test cases  ✏️ Identify and resolve bugs with more efficiency    They also got a special expert session, diving into the advanced tools and capabilities of GitHub Copilot.   Special thanks to our partners at Microsoft, Chen Sade and Adi Stein, and Gilad Gershon and Ofek Ben Eliezer from Fast Lane Israel for helping our teams play better!
