About us

Pioneer Israeli Biotechnology Company Established in 2004 developing novel solutions for number of major diseases. Amorphical has successfully developed a unique and stable form of Amorphous Calcium Carbonate (ACC), in nano-particle form (20-80 nm) employing proprietary process based on biomimicry-searching methods utilized by certain mammals. The unique features of ACC have demonstrated novel modes of actions that enable disease treatment in a number of conditions, as well as performance improvement of cells and organs. ACC has a much higher solubility than crystalline calcium carbonate (CCC) at mildly acidic conditions and neutral pH (100 times higher), compared to all similar calcium products in the market including Pfizer’s and GNC’s. ACC consists of nanometric primary particles in the range of 20 to 80 nanometers that are slightly agglomerated. ACC has a remarkable higher (double) calcium absorption, compared to other calcium supplement substances. ACC has remarkable higher calcium bioavailability and higher bioactivity, which is attributed to ACC’s capability to deliver the carbonate domains as a solid nanometric buffer.

    We're looking for a professional Senior Chemist to join our team! Amorphical is a pioneering Israeli biotechnology company establishedin 2004. The company has developed a unique technology for the industrial synthesis of some amorphous mineral nanoparticles based on biomimicry while acquiring in-depth knowledge about the properties and benefits inherent in the gastrolith of the blue crab. This unique, Patented technology stabilizes several essential minerals in an amorphous physical structure while maintaining their nanometer particle size. Amorphous solid dispersion based on nanosize particles is an established method for increasing the permeability, bioavailability, and biological activity of compounds. In light of these discoveries, Amorphical is developing new pharmaceutical products for humans and animals aimed at bone, metabolic and inflammatory diseases. Amorphical's main purpose is to be a pharmaceutical company that develops and sells drugs. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior chemist to join the team and take part in research and development work. Senior Chemist activities: -Participate in and conduct research experiments - Support and development of existing products & Taking part in new product development - Recording, recording, taping, analyzing, and presenting data and SOPs -Preparation of a formulation - Managing and leading a small team - Conducts monitoring (pre-study, initiation, routine monitoring and closeout) visit per monitoring plan and applicable SOPs -Planning work in accordance with the company's goals - Oversee, manage, and ensure the work plan is executed per key metrics (timelines, budget, operational and quality standards) Your experience and qualifications: - At least a PhD or M.Sc in chemical sciences with at least 5 years of managerial experience -Technically oriented, experience working in a wet lab - Experience with inorganic chemistry and preparation of formulations – mandatory -Working methods-XRD, preparation of solutions injection, syntheses, inhalation -Working with zinc, and developing animal feed - an advantage - Experience working with FDA, US, and European regulations[A1] -Ability to design, develop and deliver programs -High level of English - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a dynamic environment - Excellent human relations, accuracy, and attention to detail - Independent and responsible, with a can-do attitude For more information or to apply, please contact michal.m@amorphical.com Please mention "Senior Chemist" in the subject line of your email.

    🚀 Exciting News! 🚀 Our groundbreaking research on "Amorphous Calcium Carbonate enhances osteogenic differentiation and myotube formation of human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells and primary skeletal muscle cells under microgravity conditions" has been published! 🌌 Space exploration poses unique challenges, including the impact of microgravity on the human body. Our study, conducted aboard the International Space Station, sheds light on potential solutions to combat muscle atrophy and skeletal deterioration in astronauts. 🔬 Through meticulous experimentation, we discovered that Amorphous Calcium Carbonate (ACC) holds immense promise in addressing these challenges. Our findings demonstrate that ACC enhances differentiation of human primary skeletal muscle cells into myotubes and promotes the differentiation of human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells into osteocytes, leading to increased calcium deposits. 🌟 These results, combined with previous data, underscore the potential of ACC supplementation in safeguarding against muscle and bone deterioration in space conditions.     It's always exciting when an article is published about an experiment we did. This time, an article was published about our clinical trial with COVID-19 patients (the delta type, when COVID-19 still significantly affected the lungs). In this article, we show medications for treating any SARS-CoV-2 variant and similar pandemic viruses are sought. Growing evidence connects coronavirus’ binding, fusion, and replication and evolved acute pulmonary infections with locally induced acidity. Stabilized Amorphous Calcium Carbonate (ACC) has demonstrated preclinical and clinical efficacies for treating biomedical conditions associated with pH modulation effects by delivering alkaline carbonate content to acidified environments.  Thanks to our CTO Yigal Blum who works hard so that Amorphical can get the scientific recognition that Amorphical deserves. #covid #COPD #Pneumonia #innovation
