Would you use a CV or Resume checker? As a Talent professional, I understand the importance of a good CV. But as a job seeker, is it worth it? CV checkers can offer significant benefits, such as identifying spelling errors and phrases as well as providing formatting suggestions for a polished presentation. They can even help align your CV with job requirements and optimise the wording for Applicant Tracking Systems, often increasing visibility to recruiters. With AI, these tools can indeed enhance Your content quality, making your CV a great CV ! However, there are drawbacks. Increasing the use of automation may lead to a loss of the 'personal touch' when it comes to how your Cv reads. WHY ARE YOU ASKING A CANDIDATE WHAT THEY CURRENTLY EARN????? I have worked for a number of different companies across Europe. Some big, some small, some new some old.... each with their own philosophies and agendas! That being said, I have always (and will always) go in to a recruitment campaign looking to find the best talent available...... not the best "deal" or "bargain". I would genuinely be open to being challenged on this subject and welcome you to change my mind but the main purpose of structured interviewing is to pinpoint job skills that are essential to the position... that position SHOULD already have a budget assigned and accounted for...... what does their current salary have to do with your current agenda or how well they can do said job?........ not a hypothetical question!! Surely the question should be - "this is our budget, does this align with your expectations?" thoughts.... please 🤗 #salary #negotiation
