Walls Construction is delighted to continue our journey with Echelon Data Centres and FTSQUARED on the DUB10 Campus, and are now in the final stages of DUB13 (30MW) and DUB12 (30MW), whilst construction is progressing rapidly on DUB11 (30MW) #datacentreconstruction
Echelon's DUB10 data centre in Clondalkin, Dublin, is nearing completion! Situated less than 20 minutes from Dublin Airport, the DUB10 campus is already partially operational. It will provide more than 90MW of IT load and includes a substation to support the grid, as well as on-site power generation. This has been an exciting journey and we’re looking forward to getting it over the line and progressing work on our other Irish data centre sites in Dublin and Wicklow. Walls Construction is pleased to announce our successful recertification for ISO 19650, certified by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI). This certification is increasingly becoming an essential requirement in the industry for the procurement and delivery of construction projects as it ensures adherence to globally recognized best practices for Building Information Modelling (BIM). It enhances collaboration, improves efficiency, and ensures quality assurance across all aspects of the construction project. To maintain this certification, we are subject to annual external audit from the NSAI which verifies that we continue to meet the standard’s requirements across the organisation. #BuildingOurFutureTogether #ISO19650 #NSAI

The finish line is in sight on the Grand Canal Harbour Project for our client Marlet Property Group. These stunning images show the development in all its glory as we approach Project Completion. Last Saturday morning we had the pleasure of a visit from members of the Architectural Association of Ireland, who were escorted by our Site Team on a tour of the development. The Architects were particularly impressed with the conservation element of the project, notably the historic Harbour Warehouse, meticulously restored to house a blend of modern conveniences such as a cafe, co-working spaces, and a medical centre, while preserving its industrial legacy. Grand Canal Harbour will upon completion, comprise 596 apartments, 7,000sq m of retail, medical, co-working and childcare space and 1,700sq m of amenity space. Some 54% of the site is to be given over to public spaces including a public plaza offering a flexible outdoor space for open-air markets and events. We look forward to its completion.
