This month's blog comes from Rose, part two of the cult classic “Why are all my job applications being rejected?” In November 2022, Rose wrote the above article to help people with their CVs in which she included a note at the bottom saying people should contact her if they needed someone to look at their CV. After that, she got maybe 1 request a month. For the past few months, Rose's been getting 10+ requests a week, so the market has obviously changed. The CVs she was asked to review a year ago usually did have some kind of issue - usually something like not describing their jobs well. However now she's getting loads of people emailing her with CVs that are perfectly fine. The problem isn’t the CV, the problem is a glut of choice for employers. So Rose presents part two!
