Recognising the importance of acoustic privacy for occupant satisfaction, First Tech integrated Tate’s raised access floor system to enhance acoustic performance at its new campus headquarters in Oregon. In addition to acoustic benefits, underfloor service distribution discreetly houses HVAC, electrical, and low voltage systems, aligning with the design philosophy of connecting people with nature and providing equitable access to natural light. Sustainable Living in Skovbrynet Lyngby Located just north of Copenhagen, Skovbrynet Lyngby is a stunning new residential area covering approximately 34,500 square metres. This green-focused development features studios, communal zones, company residences, rental properties and lush green spaces, designed with sustainability at its core. The impressive BaseCamp area within Skovbrynet includes 640 studios, providing homes for a diverse mix of students, researchers and older adults. One of the standout features is the expansive green roof, spanning 7,300 square metres, complete with an 800-metre-long walking and running track. This rooftop oasis offers multiple viewpoints, roof gardens and spaces to grow local herbs and vegetables. Eurotag Danmark A/S, the official distributor of Derbigum waterproofing membranes in Denmark, and Multi Tag Enterprise, a Derbigum Approved Contractor, collaborated on this project. They selected the DERBIGUM® GC AR root resistant APP-Bitumen waterproofing membrane, ensuring a robust and waterproof solution for the green roof.
