1. What is the ICFF Platform?
The ICFF Platform is an online viewing website that allows users to watch the ICFF Festival Films safely from the comfort of their home.
2. I purchased a pass how do I access the movies?
If you have purchased a pass please make sure you’re using the same email address to login into our platform, you should also have received a detailed email containing all the information you need to start watching your content.
3. How do I buy a single movie ticket instead of the Festival pass?
Start by creating an account or logging in to watch.eventive.org/icff to browse our full catalogue. To watch a film, open the movie page and click on “Unlock.” You will be prompted to enter your credit card number in the pop-up window. If you have a promo code, it can be entered in this window as well. In addition to be able to stream the movie right away, you will be emailed a link to how to watch your rented movie plus the time it will be available to you. You can also find your films in “My content library” by clicking on your Account in the top right corner. Each film is available for a fixed 24 hour period, and you will have additional 24 hours from the moment you click play to watch your film before it expires from your Library.
4. Can I watch films from anywhere in the world?
No. At the request of our distributors, only those living in Canada will be able to watch films on the ICFF Platform.
5. How long will the films be available, and do they need to be watched at a specific time?
Each title will be available to watch for the duration of the At Home Program if you have purchased a Festival Pass but can be unlocked only once, after unlocking the movie with a pass or by renting the title you will have 24 hours to start watching it. If you have purchased and Online All Access pass you’ll be able to watch each movie starting the first day of the At Home Program.
6. How long do I have to watch a film?
You will have 24 hours from the moment you click play to watch your film before it expires from your Library. Films can only be watched once during the 24-hour window.
7. Can I start a film and come back to it later?
Yes. Films can be paused and resumed at any point within your 24-hour window. Once you click play, you have 24 hours to finish watching. Please keep in mind that with a Pass you will be able to unlock each movie for free only once.
8. How long will each film be available on ICFF platform?
All films will become available on the first day of the Festival, and will be available for the duration of the Festival (subject to availability). If you purchase a Festival Pass after the start date of the festival you will have immediate access up until the end of the festival.
9. What is the refund and exchange policy?
ICFF has a no-refund or exchange policy. If you are experiencing a technical issue please refer to the support on platform by clicking “Need help?” button.
10. Is there any bonus content that comes with my rental?
Some titles may include bonus content like introductions or Q&As with filmmakers. To watch them, click on a title and scroll down to “Bonus Content.” Please note: you must purchase a ticket for a title in order to watch bonus content. Bonus Content is linked to the movie and will be available to you for the same duration after you have successfully unlocked the movie.
11. How can I watch from my TV?
You can comfortably watch ICFF At Home from the Eventive app on your smart TV, once in the app look for the ICFF Channel. Additionally you can Cast from any Chrome based web browser to a Google TV, Chromecast or FireTV, you can also use AirPlay to watch on your Apple TV from a iOS device or connect your PC or laptop to your TV.
