Informatica PowerCenter v9.1 and Oracle has been around for a while in the BI field. The clients wanted to migrate the entire infrastructure to use HVR, Talend v5.4 and Greenplum.

Old Infrastructure: Oracle(ERP) -> Informatica PowerCenter -> Oracle(Reporting Layer)
New Infrastructure: Oracle(ERP) -> HVR -> Greenplum(mirror Layer) -> Talend -> Greenplum(Reporting Layer)

The Project aims to develop new infrastructure/environment to implement new technologies like Talend Open Studio v5.5.0, Tableau v8.2, OBIA (with Informatica Powercenter v9.1 HF2) and Endeca (Clover and Information Discovery) connecting to multiple databases like Oracle EBS, Greenplum, Vector wise.

The Objective of the project is the Consolidation of two major repositories used by GE in Informatica PowerCenter. The Sole purpose of consolidation is the profit of GE in maintaining single repository.

The Objective of the GE – Clarcor Migration project is to set up an entirely new BI Environment (Oracle Databases, Informatica and Cognos) for Clarcor. The Air Filtration business moved from GE to ClarcorIA. The project mainly focused on the migration of the entire BI environment present in GE to ClarcorIA. This also included testing of all workflows and reports in the new environment.

GAMS (Global Application Maintenance and Support) mainly included providing production support. The project also included enhancement requests and new requirements from users.
Responsibilities:
o Managed various Data Warehouses and fetched data from multiple source systems like ERP (Oracle 10g/11g - JAROS Architecture), SFDC and Flat files.

 Vice-Captain of team that created a F1 racing car to compete in the SUPRA SAEINDIA’11 event held at the Madras Motor Racing Track, Chennai, in July 2011.
 The team ranked 33 in the race
 Designed and developed the kill switch and the brake over flow kill switch of the F-1 (Formula One) car.
 Working of these switches were tested by the representatives from Maruti Suzuki and ARAI.

Designed and fabricated a working model to produce electricity by keeping the piezoelectric crystals below the road surface and using the weight of the vehicles to generate pressure that led to electrical power generation.
